I recently acquired a copy of Cinema 4D and really wanted to test out its new UI. I’ve actually never used the software before, but have always wanted to due to the slew of awesome graphics I’ve seen online created with Cinema 4D. I especially liked the exploding text effects, so lo and behold I read this tutorial: http://www.sketchypictures.com/1480/font-crash/ and went to town learning the new software.
It was awesome! The UI was extremely intuitive (especially if you are familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite graphics software) and the capabilities of the software to fulfill a designer’s needs are only limited by the imagination of the designer and his understanding of the software (there’s a million different brilliant things you can do with it)! I’m still a noobie so my capabilities are pretty limited, but here is what I was able to create with it after I finished creating the exploding text and exported the .tif file into Photoshop and gave it some color and a smokey blurry atmosphere.
