Fillipo Innocenti did an amazing job with designing the virtual Adobe Museum of Digital Media. The AMDM is phenomenal in every sense of the word. The size of this virtual environment is breathtaking with enough space (2 towers each 50 stories tall) to accomodate and archive all past media that is showcased here. Taking the virtual tour gave me an inkling of what it will be like in the future to be able to participate in virtual reality with this museum in particular being one of my first choices to visit. The digital media being showcased here currently however (seemingly placed here by the current curator-Tom Eccles?)is questionable and and suits nothing of value as far as I can see. It seems to be strange just for the sake of being strange and is nonsensical in every ‘sense’ of the word. I wish the art being housed here would reflect the ingenuity of the architecture. Overall, all media aside and solely focusing on the museum itself, this is a grand conquest which sparks interest in any future endeavors.
